Syringomyelia is a neurological condition characterized by formation of fluid-filled cavity or cyst in the spinal cord. The condition may be syndromic or occur in association with infections, tumors, or cord tethering syndrome. Scoliosis may develop due to increasing size of the syringomyelia.
