Monro Kellie Doctrine

Monro Kellie doctrine describes properties of skull and the structures residing within. Since cranium is a rigid cavity, hence contents within the cranium should be controlled in such a way that intracranial pressure remains within normal range. Any expanding mass within a cranium can displace fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, and venous blood from the cranium so as to maintain the intracranial pressure.
