Does anyone know how bad an H. Pylori can get if it’s found on the lining of the stomach causing gastritis?
Well it’s one of the most common bacteria causing gastritis, but it’s not too harmful. The eradication of HP takes about ten days with antibiotics and you will have to take PPI for some time longer. Complications will only appear when you don’t do anything, when there’s ulcers that might rupture, constant oozing bleeding, destruction of the gastric lining resulting in malabsorption, missing IF etc.
