Chiliaditi's syndrome is a rare condition characterized by abnormal position of a portion of colon between diaphragm and liver. In many cases, the condition may go unnoticed, however, individual may present with symptoms such as abdominal pain, obstruction, and vomiting. The condition is identified on imaging which confirms abnormal position of colon between liver and diaphragm. The condition may be misdiagnosed as pneumoperitoneum. The treatment is usually symptomatic. Bowel decompression may alleviate the symptoms. Right hemicolectomy and hepatopexy are also done in indicated cases.
