Pharyngeal cancer is abnormal proliferation of pharyngeal cells. Initially, it presents with pain in throat and ear. Pain while opening mouth, white patches on tongue and oral mucosa, excessive coughing and coughing with blood, neck pain, dysphagia, breathing difficulty and lump in neck are noticeable complains. Smoking and alcohol are prime risk factors for pharyngeal cancer.
