Air purifiers are a scam. They claim to purfiy the air in your house but actually, they are polluting it even more. Air purifiers contain ozone gas. We all know ozone is also enveloping the earth. Ozone is beneficial at that extent but ozone right there in your house is harmful. Breathing ozone daily weakens your respiratory system affecting the ability to fight off respiratory infections. Moreover, it reacts with other gases around and produce dangerous by-products.
