Subcutaneous nodule is one of the major criteria of diagnosis of rheumatic fever according to revised Jones criteria. The subcutaneous nodules in rheumatic fever are found on small and large joints. The nodules are mobile, non-tender, firm, and non-pruritic. These nodules are commonly associated with chronic and recurrent disease.
