Impingement Syndrome is one of the most common shoulder conditions and is due to narrowing of the subacromial or subcoracoid spaces. In this video, learn how the Painful Arc Test can help discern contributors to this pain. Be sure to ask the patien when the pain is most prominnet and most relieived, as pain within different ranges of motion can correspond to different pathology. If pain is present throughout the entire movement, consider osteoarthritis or frozen shoulder in addition to an Impingement Syndrome.
