Monitoring of Patients of Epstein Barr Virus Infectious Mononucleosis by Steroid Administration In patients of EBV infection, the lymph nodes are swollen aggressively therefore they need close monitoring to present airway obstruction. When the patient is at risk of developing airway obstruction steroids are administered.
