The Benediction Sign

Benediction sign arises as a consequence of peripheral neuropathy in hands. It is characterized by flexion of ring and middle fingers whereas rest of the fingers remain extended when patient is commanded to make a fist. The benedict sign occurs due to injury of median nerve.
