Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches while Seborrheic dermatitis is a common condition that affects the scalp. However, they share some similar signs and symptoms, such as red, scaly skin. But most often, the scales of psoriasis are thicker and somewhat drier in appearance than are the scales of seborrheic dermatitis.
