Impetigo

Impetigo is a bacterial infection of skin that commonly affects children. This disease involves formation of pustules and honey coloured crusts on the involved area of skin. Most common site involved is the face while the most common organisms involved are S. aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes. The disease is contagious and should be treated by antibiotics.
