Complications of Treatment of HPV Warts The complications associated with wart treatment are quite rare. Mishandling, wrong diagnosis and excision by incompetent surgeons may produce complications. Such complications are limited to the site of treatment and accompanied with scarring. Some complications include hyperesthesia i.e. heightening of one, more than one or all senses and vulvodynia i.e. persistent pain in vulva.
