In my junior anatomy and physiology class, at the end of the year, we got to choose between dissecting a fetal pig or a cat. I chose the cat and we got to cut into the abdomen to explore the organs and I got to take them out. I eventually got to cut into the thoracic cavity and explore the heart and lungs, as well as the trachea and esophagus. It was such an awesome experience and I found it so fascinating and educational. In this picture, I am holding the digestive system of the cat. This includes the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, duodenum, small intestine, large intestine, and rectum.
