What thyroid examination signs are specific to Graves’ Disease?
1. Pretibial myxodema (PTM) also known as thyroid dermopathy i.e. deposits of hyaluronic acid form localized lesions 2. Ophthalmoplegia i.e. weakness or paralysis of one or more eye muscle 3. Bilateral exophthalmos i.e. bulging of eye from the orbit anteriorly 4. Thyroid acropachy i.e. formation of new periosteal bone, swelling of soft tissues in hands and feet, digital clubbing 5. Chemosis i.e. eye irritation or infection
