Duncan’s Syndrome

Duncan’s Syndrome which is also known as X-linked lymphoproliferative (XLP) syndrome is a rare disorder that have two types: XLP1 and XLP2. XLP1 is the classic XLP that can be characterised as having hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) or severe mononucleosis, malignant lymphoma, dysgammaglobulinemia, and common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) that is induced by an EBV-infection. The mutation in XLP1 is present in SH2D1A and in XLP2 is caused by the XIAP gene.
