Female reproductive system is consistent of: internal and external organs. External organs include: labia majora (have hair and glands), labia minora (surrounds the vagina and urethral opening), clitoris, and bartholin's gland. Internal organs include: vagina (the birth canal), cervix (the uterus opening), uterus (the womb), fallopian tubes and ovaries. The ovaries produce the egg in every month which is transported through fallopian tubes to the uterus. If it is fertilized by the sperm in the tube it gets implanted in uterine wall. After the third trimester the cervix dilates and the baby is delivered by the contraction of uterine muscles. If there is no fertilization uterine walls shed and menstrual cycle begins.
