Dengue Hemorrhagic Feveris a severe condition in which patient presents with • Fluid accumulation • Difficulty in breathing • Severe abdominal pain • Cold clammy skin • Postural hypotension • Persistent vomiting • Nose bleeds • Mucosal bleeding • Progressive elevation in hematocrit • Abrupt drop in blood pressure • Hepatomegaly • Restlessness • CVS symptoms; dizziness, tachypnea, tachycardia, low level of consciousness DHF leads to internal bleeding, hypotention, and organ failure which ultimately leads to death. The mortality rate of DHF is 2.5%
