Cough aggravated at night and the long duration are suggestive of Asthma ....the pain in throat and enlarged uvula can be a superadded staph infection which usually occurs in asthma patients ....
Not PTX for sure, on the left side it looks like bronchitis and the described symptoms might lead us to the same conclusion. The patience’s diaphragm is a little bit up - I don’t know why - that is the reason why you can see the liver so clearly
Hello sofi thank you for your reply...but for bronchitis there must be sputum production but here no history of sputum.... So how this could be bronchitis 😕😕
Yes, you’re right, sorry. Maybe pneumonia? In general there is sputum production but not always
Pneumonia is an acute condition.. nd in the first day it's dry become productive..
COPD with superimposed bacterial colonization that may have ended in upper respiratory tract due to cough reflux and there is inflammation there.
It can't be COPD.. according to the age nd he didn't mention if he smoker nd his coughing dry.. nd the x.Ray look totally fine
I think this patient has reflux and may be the cough exaggerate with acid reflux at nights,so treatment the cause of reflux and h2 blockers or pump blockers will be curative for this patient
In x-ray we can see bullas that can confirm our diagnosis and sometimes we have plural effusion in both sides that in this case bulles are bilateral and spread all over two lungs
