PAHO Diagnostic Criteria for Dengue • Severe and genarilized headache • Severe myalgia in lower back, legs and arm • Rash on face, flexor surfaces and thorax • Hemorrhagic manifestations • Leukopenia • Retro-orbital pain • Anthralgia in shoulders and knees 2 or more of the above mentioned symptoms for 2-7 days indicate dengue.
