This 13-year-old Chinese teenager slipped down and stabbed himself in the face with a 20cm-long knife while peeling an apple. He was referred by the local hospital to a larger surgical unit. The knife, which is more than 20cm long, penetrated 7cm into his face. Fortunately, the surgery was successful and the patient could recover fully in around a month.
