Reticulocyte Count :- Normal Values - < 2.5 % ( 0.5-2.5 % In Adults And 2-6 % In Infants ) High In Hemolytic Anemias, Bleeding Loss, Pregnancy, Kidney Diseases, Certain Drugs And Erythroblastosis Foetalis. Low In Other Forms Of Anemia, Radiation Therapy S/E, Bone Marrow Failure, Cirrhosis And Certain Drugs. ESR :- Normal Values Till 50 Years - < 15 In Males And < 20 In Females Above 50 Years - < 20 In Males And < 30 In Females High In Inflammations, Infections, Heart And Kidney Disease, Vascular Diseases, IBD, Rheumatic Fever And Rheumatic Arthritis, Certain Cancers, Pregnancy, Old Age, Mensruation And Auto-Immune Diseases. Low In Sickle Cell Anemia, CHF, Polycythemia And Leucocytosis. Prothrombin Time :- Normal Values - 11-13.5 Seconds ( 10-14 Seconds ) INR - 0.8-1.1 ( W/O Warfarin ) And 2-3 ( With Warfarin ) High In D/O Of Clotting, Lack Of Vit. K, Lack Of Clotting Factors And Liver Disease. Low In Case Of Patients Taking Supplements Or Food Rich In Vit. K.
