Stoneman is a very rare disease of the connective tissue. It is a genetic disorder with autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance. Stoneman disease is characterized progressive ectopic ossification of skeletal muscles and connective tissue in addition to malformations of thumbs and great toes. Currently, there is no treatment of fibrodysplasia ossificans progressive.
