Keratolytic Agents for HPV Treatment Bichloroacetic acid and Trichloroacetic acid are effective keratolytic agents used for the treatment of HPV infection. These agents penetrate the warts and cauterize keratin in skin and tissues. TCA and BCA are physician-applied agents which are effective for all types of cutaneous warts.
