Fatigue in Epstein Barr Virus Infectious Mononucleosis Epstein Barr Virus produces chronic fatigue in effected individuals. Usually, the fatigue takes 3 months to resolve. However, it may stretch to 6 months in severe cases. In chronic conditions, patients report unexplained fatigue for more than 1 year.
