Skeletal Muscle Fibres

Here you can see what allows you to move ; “Skeletal Muscle Fibres in the electron microscope”. The yellow flaps over there are the endomysial connective tissue, and the red rod like structures are the muscle fibers. The fibers contain series of proteins (actin and myosin) that slides over one another gets shorten , contract and the addition of thousands of these micro-contractions lead to a strong & big contraction of the whole muscle.
