When do genital warts due to human papillomavirus (HPV) infection become clinically apparent?
Genital warts are usually asymptomatic. They become clinically apparent when; • Flat or raised cluster of flesh-colored or grey bumps, lumps and papules appear on the external genitalia • Itching or bleeding from vagina/penis or anus • Abnormal flow of micturitation i.e. does not go straight but sideways
