Phlegmasia alba dolens refers to white and swollen appearance of leg secondary to arterial flow obstruction. Due to its white coloration, it is also known as ‘milk leg’. It is a limb-threatening emergency. Phlegmasia alba dolens primarily affects pregnant women in third trimester and in postpartum time period. Phlegmasia alba dolens presents with the triad of: 1.
