Case: A 35 year old man came to ER and was shot multiple times by a pistol. -2 shots in the abdomen -1 near the heart -2 in the lower limbs. One of the bullet was left in the limb as it wasn’t causing any difficulty in mobility. New researches say that if a vessel is not being occluded and the bullet is not causing damage to tissues it’s better to leave it there. Because if the bullet is removed it can cause large scar and can even lead to excessive bleeding. He was admitted for several days as one bullet causes Liver Cirrohsis, the patient showed good prognosis and upon complete recovery and was discharged from the hospital.
