Does your undergrad reputation affect medical school acceptances? I chose a state school because they offered tons of financial aid, but now I’m worried medical schools will look down upon the fact that I attended a state school?

It's not done in my country.. I don't think it'll affect you also, just make great grades and you're set.. The sky is just your starting point.

If you get good grades at a state school it is way more impressive than getting good grades at a top private school!

I’ve always heard that it’s less impressive because curriculum is ‘easier’ at state schools? (I live in California if that helps at all). The UC system here is pretty intense, so I figured they would prefer to see me excel at a UC rather than a state school
