Achondroplasia
Peter Dinklage, the famous actor from Game Of Thrones has achondroplasia. Achondroplasia is common cause of dwarfism, it’s because of the defect in Hormone and signal transduction pathways. It’s a congenital condition. It can occur due to mutation of FGFR3 gene. Signs and symptoms include shortening of extremities, frontal bossing, short strature, macrocephaly, trident hand etc. Peter Dinklage sets a great example for all those out there and worked hard and have achieved so many awards and recognition, regardless of suffering from this condition.
