Antral Washout

Antral washout is a surgical procedure for irrigation of the maxillary antrum. The maxillary sinus is punctured through its medial wall in the inferior meatus and the sinus is drained. This video shows right antral washout being performed under general anesthesia for symptomatic maxillary sinusitis poorly responding to medical therapy.
