Ascites: accumulation of interstitial fluid in this area due to liver cirrhosis, which means that plasma oncotic pressure willing be less than normal due to lack of the plasma proteins
Ascites: could be exudative (peritoneal carcinomatosis like ovarian and gastric cancer), trasudative (low osmotic pressure like ipoalbuminemia, high idrostatic pressure like right heart failure), chilose > for differential diagnosis need clinic and Paracentesis (Gradient serum ascites albumin SAAG)
In cirrhosis contributes to ascites: ipoalbuminemia, high idrostatic pressure for portal hipertension, iperactivity of RAA for hiperdinamic circulation
