Sweating Blood

Also known as haematohidrosis, is a very rare condition. It predominated in females (>80%) and is found majorly among asian population. The cause is unknown but its associated with periods of stress and anxiety. During this phase the capillaries constrict and then dilate. During dilation, capillaries around sweat glands and hair follicles may rupture allowing blood to stain the sweat reaching skin surface. Blood disorder doesnot demonstrate a bleeding or clotting disorder.
