Type 1 diabetic foot ulcer

Type 1 diabetic foot ulcer

This is a type 1 diabetic of 21 years, broken 5th metatarsal (jones fracture) after 3 weeks in a moon boot, presented to the fracture clinic with this ulcer. What would be your treatment?

I think it is due infection in ulcer so, given antibiotic with dignosis of microorganism and treat the ulcer by wound dressing, total contact casting, hyperberic oxygen therapy.

Neuropathic ulcer= treated by proper shoes, wound care, callus care

I should also say, it started as a blister after around 1.5/2 weeks in the moon boot then developed into this by the 3rd week.
