Reynaud's phenomenon

Reynaud's phenomenon

Raynaud's phenomenon manifests due to decreased blood flow to the fingers or peripheral parts of the body such as the ears, toes, nipples, knees, or nose. This happens due to red cell clumps in microvasculature in cold-type hemolytic anemia or spasms of blood vessels in those areas in response to cold, stress, or emotional upset.
