Scabies

Scabies is a severely itchy, contagious parasitic infestation of skin caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mite. This condition is characterised by generalised itching that is severe at night and increases with rise in temperature, burrows (tunnel like lesions that houses the mite), papules, nodules and infected lesions.
