Hammertoe Surgery

Hammertoe Surgery

A hammertoe is a painful deformity that causes second, third, or fourth toes to become bent upward in the middle so it resembles a claw or hammer. Hammertoe surgery is performed to correct this deformity in order to lessen pain and improve flexibility when the muscles in the toe are unable to stretch and straighten. It Iu s usually an outpatient procedure which means the patient can go home the same day.  Credits :
