Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing

This interesting video shows the swallowing test done on a patient using Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation. During a FEES swallowing allows a speech pathologist along with the ENT Pediatric Surgeon to use a special camera to look in the back of the nose and throat to watch patients swallow and assure that muscles in the throat are working properly.
