Chest Pain Differential Diagnosis

Chest pain is a common presenting complaint in the emergency setting. There are number of causes of chest pain ranging from harmless, transient pain to dangerous, life-threatening myocardial infarction and aortic dissection. It is important to carefully rule out all the possible causes of chest pain when a patients presents, based on detailed hisotry, physical examination, and laboratory parameters.
