APLASIA CUTIS CONGENITA

This condition usually presents as a solitary lesion on or near the vertex. Multiple lesions can be present on scalp or else where. The lesion can itself be of different types superficial, circular or oval, well-demarcated defect or atrophic scar with alopecia or it might be a weeping or granulating ulcer that might even extend to the bone.
