Roth spots are characteristic finding in infective endocarditis patients. They refer to hemorrhagic areas on retina. In some cases, Roth spots are found on eye examination of endocarditis patients. In other cases, Roth spots may cause symptoms such as blurred vision or loss of vision. Other causes of Roth spots are - diabetes - anemia - HIV - hypertension - leukemia - Behcet's disease There is no treatment of Roth spots.
