Sydenham's Chorea

Sydenham's Chorea

My 7 year old was diagnosed with acute rheumatic fever and Sydenham's chorea. This is how it looks at one month after diagnosis. Caveat to parents - don't ignore strep. It's more serious than you think! And a warning - this is a child who is ill. People making obcene or obnoxious remarks will be reported. Oh, and forgive the cinematography - I didn't realize moving the camera would affect the rotation of the video itself - and I cannot figure out how to fix it.

I have never heard of this before...is she able to relax and still for any amount if time, such as on her parents lap for a cuddle? Thank you for sharing!
