Wiskott-Aldrich is an X-linked recessive disease . In this disease both B AND T CELLs are effected and it  characterized by recurrent bleeding episodes, infection, thrombocytopenia, eczema. Otitis media or pneumonia may be  detected on physical examination. The patient may have petechiae.  Hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, and cervical lymphadenopathy may be present. The skin may be eczematous. The serum level of IgA and IgE is elevated. IgG is normal or low, and IgM is low. Carriers of Wiskott-Aldrich disease can be detected with genetic testing.
