Is there racism between doctors and patients in your country? I recently witnessed one and it was sad. Have you had an experience before?

I haven’t witnessed doctors treating patients this way but I have seen patients refusing to see one of the doctors in the office I work at because he’s black. It’s sad really, he’s an amazing doctor and great guy to work for.

Never have I witnessed it. Though, I’m a caucasian living in a prominently caucasian country. I’ve never heard from anyone that they have been treated differently because of their culture, colour or religion. I can’t imagine it happening here. I’m aware racism is still alive but I have noticed that it’s more prominent in lower income households, thus people who do not work (in the medical field). I’ve never heard a professional lash out at minorities.

I have never seen that, sometimes when a patient was being extremely rude regardless of the complexion, culture etc.
