What's the difference between Cardiac impulse and Action potential.... I sometimes get confused with them

Cardiac action potential is somewhat different from nerve action potential For example time for action potential to travel is 2ms while cardiac myocyte may reaches even 400ms This is due to cardiomyocyte physiology

Action potential is the change in RMP of a cell that travels along the membrane due to its excitation by the neurons. Cardiac impulse or cardiac action potential is the same but diifers in some characteristics from general action potential due to different ion channels and also it's self excitatory and doesn't need external source for excitation
