right has three lobes and left has two. your left lung only has two because your heart takes up the “third lobe”

Capactity is the same but lobes. Are different sizes

The left one is bigger but it has less lobe!

To make space for the heart which is situated to 2/3 in the left part of the thoracic cavity. The right lung has three lobes whereas the left lung is slightly smaller with just two lobes.
