Is that upper or lower motor neurone lesion for fascial nerve ??
I agree with you that this is lower motor, but for a different reason. In lower motor neuron lesions of the facial nerve, there is no sparing of the frontalis muscle on the affected side (which is the case here). In an upper lesion, contralateral input would allow for sparing of the frontalis. From this image it appears as if the frontalis on left is smooth, suggest cnvii or Bells palsy.
In UMN only lower half of opposite face is affected... and in LMN half of face is affected . Hence it’s LMN LESION
