Anaphylactoid Purpura(HSP)

-Definition :Allergic disorder in wall of blood vessels -Etiology :Unknown but may be secondary to infection, insect bite, food or drug allergy -Clinical Picture :You can't diagnose anaphylactoid purpura without skin manifestations *skin*: urticarial maculopapular rashes on lower limbs, buttocks, extensor surface of upper limbs *joints *: migratory polyarthritis *GIT*:severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloody stools *kidneys *:Nephrotic syndrome and it may progress to renal failure in some children -Investigations:Diagnosis depends on clinical manifestations All investigations of bleeding tendency are normal, IgA may be elevated
