Every breast tumor means cancer? Can someone explain it please
First of all tumor is a small outgrowth of cancerous cells mass into lump. Tumor may be benign or malignant. So benign is having low growth rate whose reoccurring chance is very low. While malignant tumors are very dangerous. Breast cancer is malignant tumor or u can say as long term unhealed and re occured tumor. Best regards- Sneha 😊😊
Not all tumors are malignant (cancerous). Most breast lumps – 80% of those biopsied – are benign (non-cancerous).
No.every breast tumor is not cancer.Mostly are benign.on biopsy, confirm about the malignant or non malignant.
I think the correct statement would be is that every breast lump/mass found on examinatiom in patients older than 40 is presumed to be cancer until proven otherwise with diagnostic testing
